NewSong North Orange County STM 2008

Destinations: Local | Regional | International

What is STM?

STM is our short-term missions program in which we provide people with avenues and opportunities to develop and grow as disciples of Christ, as they serve and put their faith into action in an unfamiliar context! Each team will partner with an outside organization and train, prepare, learn, and serve on a 1-2 week experience. Our hope is that those that participate in a STM will be able to enact change as they learn what it means to be “ministers of being”, no matter what context they find themselves.

Purposes of STM

  • To spread the gospel through simply loving and serving those who are in need
  • To be a light & a blessing to our partnering organizations, their staff, and their communities
  • To get a glimpse of how God is moving in communities outside of our own
  • To develop a better understanding of His heart for the lost, the last, and the least
  • To develop a MOB mentality (Ministry Of Being) in all contexts
